Calling her collection BLANC, Aglaia Restuccias daily inspiration derives by her own way of living BLANC, dressing BLANC and eating BLANC. To find the right cut for her collection, she started thinking conceptually about white; about how white spaces reflect the light in both, open spaces and close ones. Thats why the pairs of the shoes are not the same on right and left foot, but with cuts that are continuing each other. She mixed her no-colors pure way of looking through  the things with the most raw material: COPPER. That was her deal for the graduation year: make comfortable shoes from the most unconventional material for shoes and garments. She's been working by herself with copper in multiple experimentations, arriving to the solution of mixing Italian classic handmade shoes with old traditional hand stitchings on the sole and the melting concept. The final result is conceptual shoes... wearable and walkable. A combination of melted metals and Italian artisanal shoes!

Exploring new forms of design, I work with materials, which are commonly used in architecture, to create objects of daily use. I am experimenting with wood and plexiglass so as to give a new dimension to handbags, escaping from the classic fashion standards and introducing structures of modern industrial design.

Strongly influenced by my studies and the "Modern" movement, I design under the precept that form follows function. Wooden and other rigid surfaces create new forms and shapes. The patterns are not printed on fabrics but created by the texture and the very materiality of these surfaces.

Each bag weighs about 900gr, when it's empty. It consists of two wooden, that are tied to the inner fabric pouch with a cord. The main compartment offers sufficient space and zips on the top. The exterior wooden surface is of high quality plywood and covered with transparent protective varnish.

Twofold Concept is an association game: looking for different answers in response to the same question. A constant dialogue between two designers, Barbara Katona (jewelry) and Vanda Berecz (leather bags), creating beautiful objects in the process.

Lamellic collection represents the childhood memories we share about nature. Remembering when spring arrived, colours returned,
and we could play outside, in the open air again. The endless walks in the forest, collecting all the beautiful leaves, interesting stones and bringing hem home.
Flattening flowers or placing things under the microscope.
The never-ending wondering about the beauty of details. Lamellar structures appear both in botany, and mineralogy. We interpret this phenomena
through our folded leather bags and crystal-shaped silver jewelry.

My name is Kostas Fragos. My interests and my studies fall within the field of the audiovisual arts, with fashion photography being my main pursuit. Photography in all its forms interests me and inspires me. While not neglecting the beauty of the practical aspects of photography, what amazes me the most is the magical opportunity to capture a moment into a picture to eternity. Fashion photography in particular attracts me due to various reasons; the aesthetic, cultural, and social values it carries in it; the story that either is or isnt present in a photograph; and of course the fact that it offers a depiction of beauty through different time periods. As far as my personal work is concerned, I draw my inspiration from my private life, my passions, as well as other professionals. While expressing myself, I try to create interesting pictures using features coming from different places, such as art or the city streets. What I also enjoy bringing into my work are the stereotypes and clichés, as I like to play with and deconstruct them. I am a big fan of the raw but also the classical way of approaching a photographic session and my work tends to lie between the two."
