ELIRAN NARGASSI-ladiesngents

The collection for SS17 is the third collection that revolves around religion and secularism.
The SS17 collection was inspired by the moment that separated between the holiness of the Sabbath and the weekdays, according to the Jewish religion.
While designing the collection I tried to illustrate the transition to the weekdays and the return to the work routine through the textile I chose for the collection which is mostly Denim and more subtle variations in forms of Cotton, Linen and other natural materials that characterize Denim.
In order to emphasize the holiness of the Sabbath I used a tailored, festive and clean language, one that characterizes the Sabbath.

WHATEVER FW16-ladiesngents

WHATEVER FW16-ladiesngents

This F/W 2016 collection is inspired by rebellious casual Grunge style in 90s to late 90s.
The word Grunge means a mixture of grease and dust. It later became to mean nihilistic or unkempt dress style.   In 90s, this trend had been all the rage in the fashion world. Girls preferred multi-layered and asymmetrical outfit with vintage elements. You may see that Grunge is with slightly tramp element.
While pursuing with casual outfit, but the style and clothing was gone rebellious bad girl.
Camouflage and plaid elements are added in throughout this collection with some metal rings as a decoration.
Vintage element is injected to this rebellious casual style by playing with loose-fitting shirt and jacket with cropped bell-bottom trousers and dress,
highlighting the chic sense of 90s.

The ORGANIC HYBRID by Pavol Dendis is taking you into the depth of the seas,
where the kings of the camouflage live without any source of light. The collection combines Japanese shibori dye technique and
screen -printed photochromic pigments as an imitation of bioluminescence.

The concept of this collection is a junction between street design and textile technology, such as photochromic coloration. Exploring the body forms of the creatures living in the sea and transforming them into the smart clothings hacks, that can simplify wearing the clothes or changing the silhouette.
The colour scale is based on white and it is getting bleak due to deep blue shibori dye.

The undefinition of the human body in the photos is an interpretation of the reflection of life in the misty deep waters.
