At what age did you realise that you have a love for fashion? And how did this initially express itself?
The brand is found by two brothers me and Yury. Our parents were involved in the fashion industry since the beginning of 1990s, so we were always closely connected to the industry and initially had no other choice.

Would you tell us what  the main characteristics of your collection for Fall/Winter 2017-18 are?
The main inspiration for the collection was the land-art and especially the works of Nils Udo and Andy Goldsworthy, the two independent artists. Thats why there are so many colours of the late autumn nature with some bright and unexpected accents: such as electric blue and neon orange.

Is there anything about the fashion industry that you are not fond of?
There are many things that Im not fond of. Especially the lumpen hype with which Russian fashion industry is associated nowadays. All those Cyrillic letters and post-soviet inspirations are too much in the scope of fashion.

How did your collaboration come about? Apart from a shared aesthetic,
what do the two of you have in common that made you decide to work together?

It was not a sudden decision to be made, to work together as a team.
Because we knew that it was going to be damn hard. And, It was. But we always liked some challenges in our path. It gives us a good motivation to move forward in spite of each other, if you know what I mean. I compare the duo work to a kitchen work with two chefs in one place.
The ingredients are already prepared on the table, but none of us knows what is going to be made. It is exciting to see what we will
be served on the table later on. Yes, we like the unexpected.

What is it about London that sparks your creativity? What does the city mean for each of you?
London is where we used to study, at the Royal college of Art and the London College of Art,
and we still occasionally work in London, in order to keep the inspiration happening around us. It is a place where we still feel like we are students inside. You know, you can create absolutely anything you want as a fashion student. It also feels like what we are doing is being spiritually supported. Strange.

Do you like to experiment with your personal style?
We are actually not the model type of person. We like experimenting with patterns on paper and garment, not how we look.

atelier voire-ladiesngents-Thomas Vasseur

atelier voire-ladiesngents-Thomas Vasseur

Launched in 2015, Voir(e) is a french innovative ready-to-wear workshop that offers a range
of unisex outerwear and accessories bursting with character, made in France and in very limited editions. Designer Thomas Vasseur explores an imaginary
and fantasy world with a travel-orientated twist, incorporating geographical and historical elements in his clothing.
Every collection has subsequently been influenced by artisanry,
craftsmanship, local customs, literature, painting and music.
These inspirations can be seen in the ethnic and historical detailing of these unique and meaningful clothes for daily wear:
jackets and coats definitely made to be worn and enjoyed.
